Application Security Analyst
About The Position
OX Security is seeking a dedicated Application Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and working closely with development teams to promote best practices. This role requires a proactive approach to application security, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest security standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development and Research teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources and take appropriate actions.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Respond to security alerts and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in application security or a related field.
- Strong understanding of web application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top Ten).
- Experience with security tools such as static and dynamic analysis tools.
- Familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
